Greater Mousedeer camera trap photo by Hans Hazebroek near the Ulu Ulu Resort.

Mouse Deer of Brunei.jpg
(1) Lesser Mousedeer and (2) Greater Mousedeer. Both mousedeer species are common in the  forest surrounding the Ulu Ulu Resort. The majority of the food is fallen fruit and mousedeer may be encountered under fruiting fig trees eating the fruit knocked down by hornbills and gibbons feeding above. The Lesser is more active at night and the Greater  during the day.
